הרצאה זו בוחנת התקפות סייבר על טכנולוגיה תפעולית ומכשירי אי.או.טי, תוך התמקדות בשני אירועים מרכזיים: הבוטנט מיראי, שניצל מכשירי אי.או.טי לא מאובטחים עבור התקפות דידוס בקנה מידה גדול, והתקפת SektorCERT על התשתית הקריטית של דנמרק. המקרים האלה מחקרים שופכים אור על האופן שבו מדינות וקבוצות מנצלות נקודות תורפה במערכות מקושרות כדי לשבש תשתית קריטית ולהסלים את מתחי הסייבר העולמיים.
